Love is in the air!

Hello Scrappy Friends!

Welcome back :)  Today I have a new challenge for you on Use Your Stuff Challenge blog.  I am honoured to be hosting this week's challenge.

Love is in the air!  Use hearts on your project.  It can be in any shape or form... from cards to mixed media, 3D projects or scrapbooking layouts...  Add just one heart or add many - We want to see your creations!!  I hope you will join us this week: Use Your Stuff!

I have a fun little card to share with you.  I have been having so much fun with Colorburst powders from Ken Oliver, and Nuvo has some wonderful new products out as well.  I thought I would combine the powders with the Nuvo Glimmer paste.  I am very excited to share it with you. :)

Here are a few close-ups:

Diecuts  from the Colorburst panel.  Cut with an old Sizzix Bigz die.

Love the dimension with the paste applied with a stencil.  Oh, and did I say SPARKLE???!!!!

Mounted and matted on the card base.

Punched hearts from a triple punch - EK Success.

I mixed up the pieces cut from the panel scraps to create the inlaid effect for the inside of the card.

Heart wrapped with colored twine... popped up with Stampin'Up! Dementionals.

Die-cut from Tim Holtz word die.

Here is a quick walk-through of the process.

Hope you will play along with us this week at Use Your Stuff!

Thanks for stopping by!

Until next time... Happy Scrappin"!
