Mixed Media Canvas - Greatful

Hello Scrappy Friends!

Today I have a fun little canvas to share with you.  I made it for this week's challenge over at Use Your Stuff: Use more than one stamp.

I started with a 5x7 canvas board from my projects drawer.  I used Distress Paint to create the background.  The colors used: Vintage Photo, Mustard Seed and Wild Honey.  I daubed it on randomly and spritzed it liberally with water.  I tilted the board in different directions to blend the colors.  When I had the look I wanted, I heat set it and applied a little Wild Honey paint through a hexagon stencil.

Pumpkins stamped with CTMH Thankful stamp set.  Fussy cut and shaped with flower shaping tools.  I added the stem cut from a scrap of green cardstock, and wrapped some wire around a paint brush for the vines.

The sentiments are stamped with the same CTMH stamp set.
The leaves were  created with a stencil and Dreamweaver Crackle Paste.  Once it was dried and crackled, I placed the stencil over the design again and applied Vintage photo and Mowed Lawn Distress Stain for color.

Hop on over to Use Your Stuff to see all the Design Team's Creations.  Hope you will join us and share your creation!

Until next time... Happy Scrappin'!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts!
