Watercolor Challenge - Bird Crazy

August was wonderful!  We spent much of it at our camp on the lake.  I brought a few things with me to have some playtime.  Scrappin' at camp was quite relaxing.
The Use Your Stuff Design Team is back from our vacation and have another challenge for you.  It is my pleasure to host the challenge this week.  I challenge you to use watercolor in your project.  You can watercolor your stamped image, make a fun background with watercolor, or use your imagination to add watercolor in some other way. Here is the card I created for this challenge.

I used water color in two ways.  I colored the crazy bird with Marvy Watercolor pencils, and then did a wash of Distress Inks and my waterbrush for the background.  The Distress Ink colors I used were: Blueprint, Twisted Citron and Spiced Marmalade.

The party hat and paint brush were stamped from the Bird Crazy Accessories set and fussy-cut as my dies were not at camp with me.

Thr front of the card is offset to leave room for the presents to show from the inside.  The presents are stamped from a PennyBlack set "Party Time".

I hope you have found some inspiration and will join us this week with your own water color project.  Be sure to stop by the blogs of our talented Design Team at Use Your Stuff.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts!
