Fun with Embossing Powder

Hello Scrappy Friends!

Sorry with the delay on this week's challenge post.  I got my dates confused and uploaded the wrong post. ... too many irons in the fire?  lol

The challenge this week at Use Your Stuff is to use Heat Embossing on your project.
Here's my card:

The card is created with Ken Oliver's Color Burst Powders, and an Embossed Resist technique.
I first stamped with Versa Mark ink, then applied the clear embossing powder.  Once it was heat set, I Spritzed the watercolor panel with water and sprinkled on the Color Burst Powders.  I used Tangerine, Key Lime and Ocre for a bright and summery look. While it was still wet, I stamped into the colors with a clean stamp to pick up the color, then stamped a few more times around the panel to give the watery effect of more flowers in the background.

I didn't like the panel once I stamped it, so I made a new one.  Not wanting to waste the first panel, I decided to cut it down, mat it and pop it up.  I love how it came out!

Here is the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you will join our challenge this week and use your embossing powders.  Show us what you have created... We love to see your projects!
