Fun with Bokeh

06:00:00

Hello Scrappy Friends!!

The Challenge over at Use Your Stuff is to get inky.  That is my favorite kind of challenge!  Please hop on over and check out all of the creations the DT has created as inspiration.

Here's my card.

I used Distress Inks Peeled Paint, Twisted Citron and Iced Spruce.  I sponged the Distress ink on in various areas on the mixed media paper, blending the colors to get a marbled effect.

White Distress Stain was used to achieve the Bokeh effect with a sponge and stencil from Creative Embellishments.

I stamped the flourishes in the corner using Playful Flourishes by CTMH.  The sentiment is Thanks from Inkiadinkado.

I had some left over flowers from a previous project.  They were created with Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms stamp and die and colored with chalk inks.  I added some Prills in the center.

I used some cardstock scraps I had in my stash for matting the panel.

On the inside, I added a little matching flourish in the corner and sponged the edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink.

I hope you will join us in our challenge this week and share your creation at Use Your Stuff.

Until Next time...
Happy Scrappin'!
