White Wash Technique

Hello Scrappy Friends!

I have a quick card to share with you today to go along with the new challenge on Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog,

This week, the challenge is to use Kraft cardstock in your project.

The First I stamped the image with Versamark Ink.  I added some clear detail embossing powder and heat set it with my heat tool.

I used Tim Holtz Picket Fence Distress Stain and painted on a white wash.  I had originally thought I was going to add some colour with coloured pencils, but once I got to this stage, I decided that I liked the simplicity of it.

I used an EK Success Triple butterfly punch to punch a small butterfly, and added some detail glitter for some sparkle.

Hope you will play along with us this week!  Stop by to see all the  DT creations on Use Your Stuff.

Until next time...
Happy Scrappin'!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts!
