Scrap Your Food

16:34:00

For those of you that know me, I am a Real Foodie!!  I love the experience of the food and everything else that makes up the experience.  When we go out to eat, or even when we make something yummy at home, we take pictures.  I know I am not alone with this!  Cell phones have certainly rocketed this trend.

So how to do preserve those tasty memories??  Scrap them!

Here is a double page layout that I had sooooo much fun creating.  I hope it turns on those creative juices and helps to inspire you to scrap your food :)

These photos were taken in Galveston Texas at Willie G's Seafood and Steak Restaurant.  We from Dryden Ontario over three days to take a cruise with Royal Caribbean.  A delicious meal was well over due!

The waitress was super.  I asked for a copy of the menu to keep, explaining that I am a Scrapbooker.  She was happy to oblige.  I cut the menu apart to make this layout.  The Page Title was cut from the front of the menu and matted on cardstock.

I cut apart all of the menu items and lined them up to make a fun accent on the page.  I had some acrylic letters that I colored with alcohol ink and mounted them over my menu items.

The restaurant was right on the pier.  I took a photo of this sign and the birds outside the restaurant.  The bird was fussy cut from one of my photos and popped up on foam dots.

The beautiful plate of food in the top left corner was avocado with mango chutney, topped with crab.  It was beautifully garnished with beet strings and fresh basil.

The ambiance in the restaurant was so fun.  There were beautiful colored orbs hanging at different levels all throughout the dinning room.  The photo on the top right shows some of the lights,

The accent on the bottom right corner is another bit from the menu that I cut out and matted.

What a fun memory... and great fun to Scrap It!

Print those fun food photos and get scrappy :)

Until next time... Happy Scrappin'!
