Puppy Love

22:58:00

I have been a busy little bee lately!  Here is one of the mini albums I have completed.

The album is 4" x 6", made in "Matchbook Style".  I was originally inspired by Laura Denison - Following the PaperTrail.  You can see a tutorial of her album HERE.

The paper I used is Dog Days by Deja Views.  The cardstock is some from my stash Avocado - StampinUp! and some dark blue shimmer paper from Recollections.   I had some cute puppy paw brads in my stash and added one here on the corner.

On the inside of the front cover, I made a small pocket with a tag that is photo-ready.  It will hold a wallet-sized photo (2" x 3"), with journaling space on the back. I found some dog bone clips in my stash.

There are six pages plus the two inside covers for photos.  Each page is a pocket for a large tag pull-out, as well as a smaller tag that is photo-ready for a 3' x 3" photo and a smaller tag for notes.

I used a border punch from Fiskars for the pages and the outside edge of the large tags.  The smaller tags are made from Tim Holtz Tiny Tags Bigz die.  I used embellishment cutouts from the paper pad to tie in the theme.

I just love that Tiny Tags die!  The little tag toppers are perfect!

Lots of little pockets to tuck tags and pictures into.
All of the embellishment cutouts have been distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Vintage Photo or Faded Jeans.

This style of album goes together quite quickly.  I spent more time with the embellishments than I did the book assembly.

Here is the video walk-through...

Happy to submit this album to the following challenges:
