Baked with Love

It is the season to start filling your house with the lovely smells of cookies and other baked goodies :)
I have the sweetest image for my project this week!  It is right up my alley as I love to bake. I couldn't decided what sentiment to use as two of them come with this adorable image.  I decided to use the sarcastic one in honor of my Dad and his jokes about my baking.

The cute image is from Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet.  It is called BakedLove.
For my project this week, I made a recipe box with recipe cards inside.  What a great gift it would make for passing your favorite family recipes.

On the box, I used paper from American Craft's Hot Cocoa paper stack.  I used a Martha Stewart border punch along the top and cut a few extra strips from the patterned paper for the top and bottom of the box.   Next, I added some white and brown rik rak.  The dividers inside the box were cut from red file folders I had in my stash... edged with Distress Ink.  I topped them with a tiny tag (Stampin'Up) and a button with twine.

I colored the image with watercolor pencils and fussy cut around it.  I popped up the mixing bowl and the little measuring spoons.

Close-up of the sentiment... I punched out the sentiment with a label punch from EK Success and stuck it on with a little red pearl.
