09:00:00

It's summer and it's hot, so let's break it up a bit! The Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog Design Team is happy to bring you our "No Rulz!" Blog Hop! We're being sponsored by River City Rubber Works! Come hop with us for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate!

As you hop, leave comments! The more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win!

All of the LTSCB designers are creating Anything Goes inspiration projects for our blog hop. Everyone participating in the blog hop is invited to link up a 'No Rulz' project for extra entry/entries into the drawing! No rules for this challenge!

For my project, I made a Folio Mini Album.  I have seen these around on Pinterest, and got to see one in person last week at the Local Scrapbooking store in Cornwall.  I decided I was going to dive in and figure it out!

I think that this was the quickest mini album I have completed!  It took one day to figure out the design and measurements and assembly, and another few hours to add all the embellishments.  I love how it came out... now to add the pics.  I think I'm keeping this one!

Lots of pics! I think I need to do a video as it is easier to see the structure with movement instead of still images, but we will start with the pics.

Front cover: Chipboard Lighthouse from Creative embellishments.  Painted with white acryilic paint, CTMH Peaarl Paint, and Ranger Black enamel.  The rocks were made by tearing textured cardstock and distressing them with Weathered Wood Distress Paint.  Some of them are popped up with foam adhesive for some dimension.  The title was diecut from Tattered Lace.  The lace and ribbon were from my stash.

The sentiment is a chipboard piece from Creative Embellishments, covered in Twinklets Diamond Dust.  The tags and border were punched with EK Success punches.

Misc shaped dew drops.  Photo/Journaling spot is cut from a Spellbinders die.

The sand dollar is cut with Tim Holtz Sand and Sea die.  I distressed it with spackle medium and Vintage Photo Distress ink.  Corner punch is from Martha Stewart, Border punch from EK Success.  The sea shells are Seashells by the Sea Shore by CTMH.

I used a digital stamp graciously sponsored by River City Rubber Works: Lighthouse digi stamp.

I used two sizes of  a Spellbinders Labels die to cut it out, and popped up the main part of the image.  The image was coloured with Distress Markers.

The photo tags are photo-ready.  The corner tabs were cut with a corner punch from EK Success. Stamped journaling spot is using CTMH Key to my Heart.

I used a combination of textured embossing powder, sand and broken sea shells under the sand dollar.

Die from Heartfelt Creations My Hero Collection.  Coloured with Distress ink and coated with Ranger Crackle Accents.

The coral was cut on my Silhouette Cameo, coloured with Distress Ink and covered with Glossy Accents.

Proud to submit this book in the following challenges:
