May Flowers Snowman Tag

April showers bring May flowers!  When I saw this adorable rosette snowman on Chelsea's blog
I knew I had come up with the start of a plan!

spring snowman, rosette snowmanI started with the rosettes.  I made them 2" and 3" in diameter. To make the hat, I cut a square and rectangle from black cardstock and trimmed them with my EK Success corner rounder punch.  The nose was cut freehand and crinkled in my Fiskars Crimper. Sequins for eyes. Plastic ribbon for the hat trim and scarf.  I added some felt flowers for the buttons with gems in the centers.
The background was stamped with Hero Arts Flower Burst background stamp. I went over some of the lines with a Gelly Roll stardust marker. I stamped some flowers on the bottom corner with CTMH Treasured Life stamp set in Momento black ink, then dotted some Tombo liquid glue on the flowers and patted on some flower soft.
The fence was created by cutting strips of paper and gluing them together - popped up on foam dots. I cut the little flowers with a Fiskars punch on DSP, shaped and glued in some mico beads for the centers.
The "sun" was created by spraying a doillie with Dillusions spray.  My tag was finished off with CTMH Fibers and sheer ribbon.  I tied a punched and sponged month tag to the fibers at the top.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts!
